There are currently no super casinos in the UK, but Manchester have already been granted permission to build a casino complex for the city. The original plan was for 7 super casinos to be built in cities such as, London, Glasgow, Blackpool, Cardiff, Sheffield and Newcastle. However after a media black lash the plan was re assessed and it was decided only one casino will be built.
London only has a few casinos the most famous being the Empire in Leicester Square. So will London ever get a super size casino on par with Vegas.? Well many believed the former Millennium dome site would be an ideal spot for a casino and hotel complex. The site is currently being used as concert and exhibition venue named the 02 arena, however its long term future is still unclear.
Having a super casino in the area would help the rejuvenation project of the area for the 2012 Olympic games and create another attraction in the city. The Las Vegas casinos pretty much fund the whole area, and a new casino in London would certainly bring in plenty of industry work and funds to the area.
Would you welcome a London casino? Leave your thoughts below and we will get back to you asap!

Having a super casino in the area would help to create
jobs, promote European tourism and create another attraction in the city. As long as there is a healthy
social structure to prevent pathological gambling in the area programs through the government counsels etc, then
it could be a ‘win win’ for all sides of the debate.
